Frequently Asked Questions

How do I order?

You can order through our website, simply choose a meal plan and you're all set for the week! We take orders by Tuesday midnight.

Are there any lock-in contracts?

We do not have any lock-in contracts. Simply order and pay as you go. You can also join our meal subscription plan and direct debit service to save time. 

What is the cut off time for ordering?

Tuesday midnight is the cut-off time for ordering.  If you forget to order before cut off time, please send us a message and we will try our best to assist you. 

Depending on our stock levels, if you put in an order after Tuesday midnight your order will be process if we have extra meals. If we do not have spare meals, we will need to process your order for the following week. We do not do refunds. Please refer to our refund policy page. 

How does the ordering system work?

We have 3 size options, Lean (small) meals, Main (medium) meals and Size (large) meals. 

For each size option you can select the amount of meals you would like to order . Our menu has 5 items per week, if you opt for 8 meals, you will receive x2 of 3 items on the menu and a 2 single items from the menu. If you opt for 10 meals, you will receive x2 of each meal, etc. 

Please advise us if you have any preference of meal choice in the comment box on the product page. No charges will apply. 

How long will my meals last?

Lifestyle Meal Prep meals have a shelf life 3 days in the fridge and 3 months in the freezer once you received your meals.

We recommend that you refrigerate the meals below 4°C and freeze below -18°C.

Does Lifestyle Meal Prep cater for special diets?

Any customisations/alterations of meals could have an additional charge. Please enquire prior to ordering if you have any allergies, diet requirements and alterations and we will advise if there are any additional charges. Your card will be charged after the transaction with the quoted fee.

Lifestyle Meal Prep do low carb or half carb options meals. 

We are also working on Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Vegan and Paleo FODMAP diet. 

Do you have a meal subscription plan?

Yes,  Lifestyle Meal Prep offers meals subscription plans. You can subscribe to our service on our product page. Simply click subscribe. We offer one time purchase and weekly subscription.. Invoice will be sent out to you after and an automated direct debit will be set up. 

You will also receive a 15% OFF discount on every 4th order. You can cancel, pause or alter your meals at any time (free of charge) before Tuesday midnight and your points will continue to resume. 

What if my meals come damaged?

Yes! Lifestyle Meal Prep meals can be customisable according to your diet requirements, allergies and preferences. Please email us prior to ordering if you have any allergies or preferences and we will try our best to assist you. 

Does Lifestyle Meal Prep provide a vegetarian/vegan/pescatarian option?

Unfortunately, we do not currently provide vegetarian, vegan and/or pescatarian options, but it is something we have been working on and hopefully we can provide those options in the future.

Does Lifestyle Meal Prep offer different size meals?

Whether you're looking to lose, maintain or gain weight, we have got you covered! 

We offer three size meals, Lean (small), Main (medium) and Size (large).

If you're unsure of which size to order, please reach out and we will be happy to assist you on which size fits your ideal dietary goals. 

Are your containers microwave safe?

Rest assured that our containers are BPA- Free. Our containers are 100% safe to microwave and eat from.

Are you containers recyclable?

Our containers are made out of recyclable polypropylene. Please make sure you dispose of them in the recycling bin or clean them out and use them again.


Our containers are re-usable as well! They are secure, leak resistant, strong and crack resistant. You can use our containers to store left-overs, ingredients or plant something. The ideas are endless!

Are your meals fresh or frozen?

Lifestyle Meal Prep meals come frozen. We choose our ingredients carefully to work best frozen.

Rest assured that our meals will taste delicious as before it was frozen and after microwaved. We freeze the meals straight after packing so all the ingredients will maintain full nutrition. 

Ordering

How do I put in an order?

Delivery

Which areas do you deliver to?

We deliver to over 300 suburbs across of Victoria. At this moment, we unfortunately do not deliver interstate.


 To check if we deliver to your suburb, check out our delivery page. Simply, enter your postcode and it will tell you whether we deliver to your suburb or not. It will also advise you the delivery cost and the day in which your meals will be delivered. 

When do you deliver?

We deliver weekly, either on Friday, Saturday or Sunday depending on your suburb.

Check out our Delivery Page, where you can search up your postcode and it will let you know what day your delivery will be on. 


We will send an SMS confirmation text within 24 hours after ordering and give you a delivery date and a rough estimated time of arrival. If those times do not suit you, please let us know and we will try to change to a more suitable time. 







What if I am not at home?

We do require someone to be at  home to collect the meals. If no one is home, we can leave the meals somewhere safe by the door and notify you once done. Meals will need to be brought inside within two hours of delivery. 


If you have any special delivery instructions, please let us know during checkout.

Will the meals be safe outside?

Due to our meals being frozen, they are safe for up to two hours outside before they needed to be brought inside and put inside a fridge/freezer.


We recommend that you refrigerate the meals below 4°C and freeze below -18°C.


Is there a delivery charge?

Lifestyle Meal Prep offer FREE delivery on all orders around Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs. A $10 delivery fee will apply for all orders further out of Melbourne CBD. You can check on our DELIVERY PAGE and enter in your postcode to see if we deliver to your area and whether there is a delivery fee. 

What if I need to change the delivery address/delivery time?

Please contact us 24 hours in advance of the advised delivery date to reschedule. $10 delivery fee will be charged for any late notices. 

Can you deliver to Parcel Lockers and PO Boxes?

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to Parcel Lockers and PO Boxes. You will need to enter a residential/office address for delivery.

How are the meals delivered?

Lifestyle Meal Prep meals are transported in a refridgerated van which is kept at cool temperature for as long as possible.

Customisations & Meal Preferences

What if I have allergies or diet requirments?

We cater to specific allergies and diet requirements. Please email us prior to ordering and let us know if you have allergies or diet requirements and we will try our best to assist you.

If we are able to cater to your dietary needs, when ordering, please fill out the 'allergies, diet requirements and meal preferences comment box' on the product page.

What if I don't like a certain meal or ingredient?

Simply fill out the 'allergies, diet requirements and meal preferences comment box' on the product page. We can easily swap it out for something else, e.g. If you do not eat pork, we can change it to chicken or beef or if you do not like noodles, we can swap it out for a different carb. We can also substitute that meal for another meal on that week's menu. 

Do you offer brown rice?

Our meals are normally served with white rice. If you would like to swap for brown rice, there will be an addition $8 charge. Please select the brown rice option on the product page. 

Storing and Heating

How do I store my meals?

Our meals come frozen. You can store the meals up to 3 months in the freezer and up to 3 days in the fridge. We recommend storing all the meals that will not be eaten that day or the following day in the freezer.


We recommend that you refrigerate the meals below 4°C and freeze below -18°C.

How do I prepare my meals?

Simply microwave meals from frozen for 5-6 minutes or thaw meals  and microwave for 2.5 minutes until heated through. There are also heating instructions on our packaging.

What do I need to prepare my meals

You can microwave our meals inside the container or, if you want to be more fancy, plate it up and microwave it!

What are my payment options?

We accept credit card/debit card, bank deposit and ZIP pay. Select your ideal payment option at checkout. 

If you have chosen to our meal subscription, a weekly repayment will be automatically  charged from your account.  

Zip Pay is only eligible for one time purchases. 

If I join a subscription, will I be locked into a contract?"

We do not have lock-in contracts for our meal subscription, although let us know by Tuesday midnight if you would like to pause, cancel or change the subscription for the week.

How do I change, pause or cancel my subscription plan?"

How long can I pause my subscription?

Subscriptions can only be paused for a maximum of 2 weeks. Any further time and your points will be cancelled. Please email us if you would like to cancel at info@lifestylemealprep.com.au.

How do I receive the 15% OFF for every 4th order discount

Sign up to our subscription by checking the box on the Product Page. We will send out an invoice which will start a weekly recurring payment. When the 4th order is due, 15% OFF discount will be added to your payment. 

Please note that Subscriptions can only be paused for a maximum of 2 weeks. Any further time and your points will be restarted. 

If you would like to restart your meal subscription, your points will start again.

How do I manage my subscription?

To adjust your subscription, simple, create an account by using the link in your confirmation email or the customer icon on right hand corner and adjust your subscription. 

How do I select my meals if I am a subscriber?

If you would like to select your weekly meal selection; login to your account > edit 'Note from initial order' and you're all good to go!
